We put together the dry mixes and instructions. You choose your fresh food and do the cooking. Mason jars are optional, and we’re planning shelf-stable wet ingredient packs for some mixes. You’ll still need water, chilled ingredients, and anything outside your selected add-ons.

Printed recipe card + extra tips online
Printed guidance is planned for every released mix.
01
Find your kit
Pick your flavors and preview a kit. Our planned format uses individually identified dry-mix packets and a printed instruction card. We are still validating packaging, labels and preparation directions, so the final contents and presentation may change before launch.
02
Make it yours
Each recipe will identify what comes in the kit, what fresh or wet ingredients you'll provide, and which tools you'll need. Advanced concepts may need specialized gear; these are marked before you choose them. All customer directions remain subject to qualified review.
03
Make it worth gathering for
Take an afternoon at the smoker, mix up a sauce you haven’t tried, or make pickles to go with dinner. Then get everyone around the table and see what they think. At launch, each released mix will come with a printed recipe card with the ingredients to add, quantities, preparation and product-specific storage guidance. Scan the card for extra tips and recipes.
THE HOMEMADE FEELING
You’re the chef. Make it your own.
You’ll chop the vegetables, mix the sauce, and keep an eye on the grill. We help with the seasonings and instructions, but you’re still doing the cooking. That’s the part we like most.
Choose your mixes, then shop for the fresh ingredients you want to cook with. You get to pick the cuts of meat and produce, where they come from, and the quality and price that work for you. Follow your kit’s recipe when choosing and preparing them.
02
Get stuck into the cooking
You choose the fresh food and do the cooking. We supply the dry blends and product-specific instructions. Optional Mason jars and the listed shelf-stable pantry bases help with the setup; the prep, cooking, and finishing touches are yours.
03
Serve something you made
Bring your own homemade sauces, dips, and pickled sides to the table alongside the food you season, grill, or smoke. It’s satisfying to sit down to food you made yourself.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Check your tools before you choose.
A grill or smoker is useful for some recipes, but it isn’t required for every kit. Your selected recipe lists the equipment and the method we recommend.
For the meat
A grill, smoker, oven, or heavy pan for the cut you choose, plus tongs and an instant-read thermometer. Large smoking cuts also benefit from a probe thermometer.
For sauces and dips
A small saucepan, whisk, mixing bowl, measuring jug, spoons, and a covered container for the fridge. Check the tools listed for your chosen mix before selecting it.
For vinegar pickles
Clean jars or food-safe containers, a small nonreactive pot, knife, cutting board, scale, and refrigerator space. Optional jar add-ons include the jar and lid only.
For half-sours
A food-safe fermentation container, weight, airlock, scale, room thermometer, and calibrated food pH meter. A regular jar and lid alone don’t cover all those needs. Half-sours remain development-only and are not available to order.
PACK YOUR BOX YOUR WAY
Need jars or pantry ingredients?
Every kit starts with dry mixes and recipe instructions. You can use your own jars and pantry ingredients, or choose the optional extras below.
For boxes with pickling mixes, add Mason jars with lids for $4 each. Choose your quantity: 16 oz for Small kits, 32 oz for Standard and larger. Or use your own.
Pantry bases, too
We’re planning an optional pack of shelf-stable wet ingredients for some mixes. You can preview the items and added price in the builder. Fresh food, water, chilled ingredients, and anything not listed still come from you.
Prelaunch options and proposed prices. Final contents, recipes, and shipping will be confirmed before orders open.
